I’ve been editing a project for a few days and a minute ago the ability to left click just above the timeline to get the playback to jump to whatever moment I click on disappeared. If the playback is paused then the cursor goes there. But if it’s playing and I want to jump to another part of the timeline, it doesn’t work.

What happened? What setting is this? I guess I hit some keyboard shortcut to disable this by accident.

Edit: Knowing Vegas, this may happen again another fifty times. But it seems like it was just some Vegas error, because I tried closing and opening Vegas, but I couldn’t get it to open several times. Restarting my computer got everything working.

    That’s an odd one!

Do you use any extensions like Vegasaur, VASST, Timeline Tools, etc? It is possible that for some new reason the extensions are processing internal events too slowly and are resetting the cursor back to a position one step behind timeline actions (although I only know for certain that Timeline Tools could do this.)
