  some waveforms (.wav files) don’t display

  Hi,
  I am editing video and adding separately recorded audio to it. This audio (.wav) needs to be synched to the original audio, but I ca only see the waveforms for my original audio. The waveform for the .wav files won’t display even if the “shw waveform” button is on.
  Any ideas about hoe to solve this?
