  Some Ki Pro Ideas

  Hi there,

  I’m using KiPro since 2 years, and still missing some functions. Maybe AJA Team can help us.
  – If Ki Pro can read ExpressCards, why not add an ExpressCard backup function? Files from E.Cards could be copied to the AJA KiStor (HDD)
  – As VTR device, KiPro is trully usefull. But one of the missed things is their slow motion capability; it hasn’t. Why not add a MEDIA CONFIG Item to set Playback Speed Simulation? I’d tried using the ADJUST buttons for slowmo, but motion quality is very bad and inexact. So, if there are a FastForward x2, x4, x8, why miss 1/2x, 1/4x, 1/8x?
  – I will like could jumps between Clip or Sc, not only between takes for faster review proposal. For example, if “SC01A..” have 30 takes, actualy I have to pass over those 30 takes to get review of the next Scene (SC). Maybe an other MEDIA CONFIG Item like “Navigate mode: (ClipName/Append/Take)” could help.
  – Out Convert could be independent assignable outputs. Actually, just I can choose only one output format to SDI, HDMI, Component and Composite. In that way, I can’t get a SDI File Format, HDMI 1080, Component 720 and Composite SD Output simultaneously.
