Some flickering after render to bluray
Just rendered my latest mammoth project to bluray. It looks good on the whole, but there’s a couple of issues I have had. I am thinking it is caused by some Magic Bullet colour correction that I have done, and I was wondering if I could adjust anything to remove or reduce the flicker.
First, one some clips where the background sky is really bright (almost white) there is flicker in the bright sky area. This only causes a problem in maybe three or four clips. For these clips, I have applied the “vivid” colour preset in magic bullet.
Second, I have a couple of clips using the monochrome highlight red magic bullet effect. This causes the whole picture to flash on and off quickly a couple of times.
The simple solution would be to just remove the effects on those clips, but it would be nice to be able to understand what is causing the problem.

There was a known issue for this in Vegas 11 yes.
Are you using the last update for vegas 11?
(Build 701 64bit) or (Build 700 32bit)…I think it was fixed.

Thanks Steve. I will update. A bit scared of updating at such a late day in the project. Are all settings and preferences retained after an update?

Well I upgraded to 12 and the flickering on the red highlight effect remains! Any more ideas?
