  • some clips appear degraded when transferred to timeline

Hi. I am a basic level user. I have a sequence made of many layers. Each layer *was* crisp-looking in the Source monitor but 1 became fuzzy when put into the Timeline. The clips and project have the same resolution settings. I have now started to find more and more of these clips appear fuzzy but cannot work out why. For example, Clip 6 is fine, I render, it’s fine. I reopen the same, unaltered project, and Clip 6 is now fuzzy in the timeline monitor but not when I check it as a clip, at source, by double clicking it and viewing it in the source monitor.

Apologies for what is possibly a basic issue, but all help gratefully received.

    Thank you

    Jane

I have solved this by right clicking on the clip in the timeline and looking at all the options. I found FRAME BLEND was checked and after unchecking it the clip now appears crisp in both Source Monitor and Timeline Monitor. Not sure how I checked it in the first place but thankful for having solved it. Posted in case this helps anyone else. Feel foolish after an hour or so trying to solve it!
