I was rendering a video from Sony Vegas byt he advice of this guy:

    https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/24/909388#909388

I rendered it as a video as an mpeg2 (extension .mpg)

And afterward the audio using Digital Dolby AC3

    extension .ac3

However I am having troubles getting this to work in Adobe Encore CS3, I imported the video and afterward the audio but they appear in 2 different timelines and I can’t copy pasta the audio one into the video timeline.

I thought it would be detected automatically that if I imported the video that the audio would follow swift and easy.. but it doesn’t

How do I get this to work?
Also both files have the same filename

    edit:

uugh I got it, I had to drag the audio into the timeline and not import it as a timeline…

sorry for the trouble guys.. I am such a newb and such a panic presser when things don’t go the way I want them to go directly
