Solution for HDV DR60 and FCP6
Hi guys. I just received an email with a plugin I didn’t knew about that resolved, in part, my problem with my DR60. The DR60 records a .M2t format that FCP can see. With this plugin, I can plug the DR60 to my make and open the new Log and Transfer window on FCP and it will import my hdv footage in to FCP with the ProRez422 codec directly into my browser. Honestly, I haven’t test it yet. I just tried to install the plugin to my FCP 6.0.3 and it’s giving a red circle around my hard drive telling me it can’t be installed on it because it requires FCP 6.0.2 to already be installed. This is incredible!!! I almost saw the light at they end of the tunnel; but NO!! Again. Back to the working table. This is a mess. Could it be that I need to go back to 6.0.2 to use this plugin??? Come on FCP!!!! What is this all about.
