    Hi.

I was just wondering if there is anything you could possibly do to get better quality when using the “solid colour” feature in the way I have done (pic below).

I am rendering PAL DV widescreen.

    Uploaded with ImageShack.us

It might look alright in the picture but when I watch it in media player classic you can clearly see all the pixels.. It looks really bad tbh- same goes for text, is there anything u can do to make it look more sharp and better quality?

Sorry for not being “up to date” with all these settings and all that, all I do is edit and render dv settings, dont really know alot more than that!

    Thanks

Thanks for those, not really sure how I would manage to get that solid colour better looking though, should I lower the opacity for that one too? its already pretty low

    thanks again

    – Check if the red and white you are using are legal colors.
    – Add at least one pixel of mid-tone between black and white
    – Add Gaussian Blur filter at .3
    – Try changing the frame size of the text and/or the background to 1920×1080 or 1440×1080.
    – Try changing font and background colors
    … and pray.
