Software updates just surfaced …

Downloading them now. When I ran Software Update, the only thing that came up was the Pro Apps update. After I downloaded that and it installed, it ran Update again by itself and the FCS updates appeared. Has it always worked like this? I can’t remember.

A few updates including FCP, Color, Motion, Soundtrack and Compressor, mostly stability but
AVCHD support added to FCP! -
Right off the bat two issues for me are solved.

Not for me.
I still get dropped frames after a few seconds capturing 720P with ProRes.
Also looks like the rendering of motion files in final cut is still dog slow.

What frame rate are you working in and what do you have for storage?

I have a ciprico 4210 via 4gb fibre channel, capable of capturing Viper and HDCAM-SR dual link.
Its the processors that can’t handle the on the fly encoding to prores.
