    Have a look at these:

    https://www.producenewmedia.com/newApps/matrix.html

cutKeys is a FCPx Keyboard Shortcut data base. Fast searching and totally customizable. It’s definitely allot nicer than dealing with PDF’s.

toMotion saves you trouble of fiddling with downloaded, distributed Effects, etc. You simply drag in the downloaded folder and fire away to route the package to the proper directory. You can also create (if not already present) a custom top level “Category” for better organization in the FCPx Effects browser.

In the screen shot I’m sending the fantastic 6-Way Split Screen effect package to a Custom Category named Split Screen Tools. When opening the FCPx Effects Browser, this will be listed under Video/Split Screen Tools/6-Way Split Screen. Easier to organize, find and access.

    Good Morning, guys.

    A few things:

Both tools are pretty solid. However I’ve yet to test under Lion. I plan to test both apps today once Lion hits.

Secondly, you guys familiar with my aspectRatio app? It’s been free since I released it four or five years ago. My plan for the new tools is to charge less than $5.00 per. Probably just a few bucks. In all seriousness these projects take lots of time and I don’t think charging a small fee is out of line. I hope everyone is ok with this ;).

    More news to follow …

    thanks.

Having dabbled with a bit of programming over the years I know how much time it can take for something which seems so straight forward to the end user.

    Dare I say it…Only a few bucks?? 😉

We both know it’s worth more.

Thanks for the time you have put into these, look forward to trying them out.

    Cheers,

    Brendan

    $4.99 for the Shortcut database.

    Please make sure you:

Install the application in your Applications folder. Then run the default database installer. That’s it. The default database will be set up and ready to go.

I’m still testing the Motion utility.

    thx.

    Hi
    I’ve done the PayPal thing.
    What happens now?
Is it just because of the time difference between our 2 countries that I haven’t heard anything or did I miss something?

    Cheers
