    Hi, if i get a media 100 system that has 8.1 software, (with license transfered to me) is the latest software (8.2.?) just a download patch or another mere 1200 dollar upgrade?

    When do software updates turn into full blown upgrade expenses.

    I think the 8.2.2 upgrade is $500.
