Softbox etc for hot light Redhead
Posted by Harry Bromley-davenport on January 19, 2011 at 1:48 amI have 3 x 650 watt Redheads
Can anyone recommend a softbox, eggcrate and speedring for these?
These are, obviously, HOT lights and I don’t particularly care for the smell of burning plastic.
I believe that one can buy fresnel lenses for these lights and would appreciate an information about that too.
Best,
Harry.

January 19, 2011 at 2:34 amHey Harry… it’s Photoflex (with a Ph…), not Fotoflex…
Photoflex and Chimera boxes are basically the same thing. Chimeras are the “industry standard.” Photoflex boxes are not quite as well made, but are a lot less expensive. Or at least they used to be… they were when I bought them. I have several that are 10+ years old and still going strong.
