soft selection can’t preview
trying to preview the yellow gradient you’d expect to see with soft selection. somehow it’s not showing up. what do i not have checked or turned on or off to be able to see it. I’ve looked around everywhere, preferences, consulted user guide, cant’ seem to figure this seemingly easy problem out.

Check ‘Preview’ in the Soft Selection part of the Attribute Manager (with the Live Selection tool active)

Ah, it was because i didn’t have version 9.1 running. That’s what i needed. Thanks though.
