    Hi everybody:

I want to create a loop with a couple of cubes but when I add fillet to them and turn them into soft bodies, when they touch the ground, they “melt” like butter. Is there any way to avoid this? I like to round the edges to make it more realistic and that’s why I don’t want to disable it.

You need to adjust the soft body settings. Here’s a good tutorial:

a possibility is to use a Mesh Deformer to use a simple cube as the deformation cage for the fillet cube, like this

The limitation is the cage needs to be a bit bigger than the target so it depends on your scene. The example file is not a demonstration of how tight it can be and still work, you’d have to play and see.

Thank you for your answers. I’ve also seen that you can use shaders to simulate that the object has rounded edges when it doesn’t really has them. Is there a video that explains how to do that? I can’t find anything.
