might be a feature, but you can be sure they won’t be hyping it up on the keynote day…today it’s all about them and os x, so they won’t be selling you on being able to run a competitor’s os on their hardware…

Lack of Dual Layer DVD is a serious issue. Also it will be interesting to see how Apple handles the endless speed bumps & price… seeing as how other companies are already offering faster dual core PC laptops with more options.

Anyone know if the speed boost of the new chips will outweigh the speed decline with PPC based software. Specifically, any one know how After Effects will be effected, what about third parrty plug ins for AE or PhotoShop?

OK. I’ll give myself a go at this -;)

Because of XP (32 bits) dependency on BIOS to boot, and the new Macs reliance on EFI to boot, it won’t work without a bootloader-hack.

The second problem (I guess, but haven’t seen any mentioning of) is the HFS+/NTFS problem of a dualboot.

Vista should be OK though… -;)
And Win 64 already, when we see a 64 bits MacIntel system.
