    any idea how I could do this? just some floating mustaches… any help would be appreciated, I’m a total noob. Thanks.

    That would require a lot of manual keyframing to keep the mustaches matching the motion of the subjects. You could use Track Motion or Pan/Crop to make the mustaches move. If there is a lot of motion, it may be extremely tedious to do by hand.

    An easier way would be to use a Motion Tracker but Vegas doesn’t have one by default. You’d have to buy a plug-in Boris Continuum Units Motion Tracker. This only works with Vegas Pro 10 or greater.

    I quess that this would work nicely as long as the persons move their heads just horizontally or vertically (in 2D). But what if the head is turned around or moved forwards or backwards. The moustache would have to move in 3D space as well. In that case you would need something like Boris FX. Or is the BCC Motion Tracker capable to move the object also in 3D space?
