Snow Leopard / Quicktime X Aspect Ratio issues!!!
Maybe I’m just missing something….
I just installed Snow Leopard which came w/ Quicktime X. When I play certain 16×9 videos in QTX or in Preview, the video plays as if it is a 4×3 movie, and there’s no way to change it (I don’t think there is anyways). The same video will play just fine in QT7, so what’s the deal???
It definitely does it on some HD videos that I’ve created, but mostly NOT on some SD videos I’ve made. I don’t know why. It doesn’t seem to have much rhyme or reason.
Maybe it’s an issue w/ my original export? Or anamorphic settings? I don’t know tech stuff well, but most of my stuff is exported w/ similar settings, so I don’t think it’s that…
Anyone??
