Snow Leopard installed, FCP7 does’nt work anymore
Posted by Nhan Nguyen dinh on July 31, 2011 at 2:54 amHi,
I’ve just installed Snow Leopard in my Mac Pro Nehalem. When I double clic on FCP 7, it cannot open. On the menu I just have “FinalCut” and “Help”
I reinstalled FCP Studio :anything changed
Thank you for help

July 31, 2011 at 3:42 amDid you install Snow Leopard or Lion?
I have seen issues before. Use the remover from the fine folks at https://www.digitalrebellion.com/fcsremover/
After you reinstall FCS (Final Cut Studio) then run software update. There are lots of updates that are needed.

July 31, 2011 at 3:51 pmHi
Thank you for answering
I did repair permission, but unfortunatly, nothing changed.
After that I noticed that my Snow Leopard Instal DVD contents the “10.6” so I upgraded it. But after upgrading, and after starting, the monitor is black. I shut down the Mac Pro and start again, the monitor stayed black.
Thank you for help

July 31, 2011 at 5:41 pmWhen you boot, do you hear a mac chime.
Sounds like you have more issues than Final Cut pro. You may need to seek the help of a mac service center.
