I’m not sure if this is where to post this, but I need help with Snapz Pro X movie capture feature. It is not saving the movies anymore, or if it does it saves an unusable 4kb file. Has anyone had experience with this?

What have you tried so far? You never said.

Try repairing disk permissions, if that douse not work trash the preference file, if that douse not work try reinstalling the application.

Please always let us know what you have tried, and please don’t post unless you have tried several things and still have had no success.

I would call tech support at https://www.ambrosiasw.com/support/

Just for some more information, I am an Apple Developer, and what normally happens for new quicktime files is to create an empty container(which is what your seeing) and then stream the contents either video codec, frames, or audio into the file. So it’s creating the quicktime file to stream the contents to, but for some reason it wont send the video.
