Is there a way to snap a duplicate of a clip, that you are turning into a connected clip (so that its sitting on top of the clip), to an edit point? This was pretty easy in legacy FCP, but I am finding it very frustrating in FCPx.

    Any ideas? 🙂

dumb question solved…. I thought snapping was, by default, turned on. Apparently it is not. Turned on snapping like I always did in legacy FCP and it works just fine. Though I am a little baffled why snapping isn’t on by default like in FCP7.
