Is there a KB shortcut in Windows CS4 that snaps the current view to the anchor of a selected layer? I don’t want to physically move the layer, just the viewport to show the selected layer.

I have a comp with a large map in it. I’m placng dots on over 500 locations. I’ve been selecting layers, duplicating and sliding up the layer stack to keep the new layers grouped.

I keep the comp zoomed in to about 400% because the dots are much smaller than the overall map. If I happen to select a dot layer that’s outside of my current view, I have to use he hand tool to scroll around to find it…or zoom out, move over, then zoom back in. This is not terrible but in a hurry, it’s easy to ease up on the space bar and accidently move a layer when the hand tool drops. It would be nice to start at the bottom of the layer stack and click one layer at a time having the view snap to that layers anchor so I can check it’s placement.

    Thanks in advance.
