    Holy Cow-

Doing a little tracking work on a slow moving globe, (ver 5.5 PB). I was able to apply the keyframes but, it is a little jerky from frame to frame. I thought there was a simple way to smooth out or simplify the position values… Any thoughts?

    thanks much!

You could try using The Smoother. Also look for several expressions/ scripts here on this forum refering to averaging tracking data or smoothing it. Other than that, I strongly suggest to upgrade to 6.5. The Tracker is much better there (even though far from perfect).
