    Hey all!

To start off: I wish everyone a happy and healthy 2016!

I have a question about the sweep NURBS in Cinema 4D. I’m trying to create a 90 degree corner with a really sharp angle.
I made it using a spline, a circle and the sweep NURBS. My problem is that cinema 4D is making the tube square instead of nice and round.
See the image I added to give you an idea.

I hope someone has a solution for this.. I searched around and found some people talking about the banking function, but turning that on just ruins the whole sweep.

    Thanks a lot!

    Best regards,

    There’s 2 things I would play with –
You can select the corner point of your profile spline and chamfer it, this will round out the corner.
If you’re not looking for that to round out, you could play with the subdivisions on your spline. It’s not perfect, but I changed the subdivision on the spline from the default adaptive to uniform. I then upped the points to about 100. You could also try changing the subdivision to subdivided, and play with this.
I don’t know if either of these ideas gives you what you want, but it’s worth a try.
