Smooth out background matte
I posted this in FCP forum but might work here. Trying to create a matte a background from one clean strip. We shot a presentation with presenter and screen and I want to matte out the screen. Here’s a screenshot of what I have:
I’m looking for a way to eliminate the banding here. Is there a way that I can make a selection and have the program scramble the pixels in a selection?

In photoshop, use Add Noise, monochromatic, about 10% at most.
Save early. Save often.
