Smooth Font Transition
I would like to transition from one font to another during my sequence. I would like to use one layer to make it look more seamless. Can I do this and if so, what is the best way? I am a beginner who knows a lot of video editing so I would say I have an intermediate workig knowledge of After Effects.

You can change the font face anytime by creating source text keyframes on text layers. If you want to morph them, you have to import them as a graphic and use effects such as Reshape. For a cross dissolve you need two separate text layers.
