“How do I” really smooth out an animated figure in motion? Played with the curves in the graph editor, adjusted keyframes in the timeline, adjusted the motion paths and still there are spots that need smoothing. Using kinematics (parenting), effector layers and expressions to control the figure. It seems like I am either hypercritical or missing an industry secret.

highlist the first and last frames of a single move to smooth, then hit easy ease or F9.

    Try this expression:

    smooth(width=.5, samples=25, t=time)

apply it to your position property or to whatever property you’re using to animate by keyframing.

If the motion’s still not quite right, try raising or lowering the width parameter. Something like .75 or .25.

I found this solution on the COW some time ago and its worked great!
