Smear/Smudge Paint – Hard Task
Hi,
I got a somehow hard task:
It’s an installation where Paint splatters over a BIG screen (many splatters with different colors).
Then dancers in front of the screen will smudge/smear the colors with their hands towards a direction(they are just pretending to).I did the splatter/paint flows with Particular, worked good. But how to smudge them together?
Using liquify and do all the hand-movements with the smudge-tool? I experienced that the smudge-tool in the liquify-filter doesnt really blur/smear the colors together, it just distorts them (like the turbulent distortion).Any advise on this?
I would really appreciate it!

Try making a BW copy of the layer and use CC Glass…
