Smartphone Swipe
Unfortunately my searches have come up empty on a satisfactory solution so I thought I would post the question again.
I am looking for direction on a smartphone screen swipe from one image to another.
The phone is an imported psd with the screen and the body as separate layers.
Is there a way to do this with masking and transition slide-straight.

Had a very knowledgeable friend point me to Track Matte which was an excellent solution.

on the emotion mvfx store there is a free template with a hand that has been green screened in that I have used quite a few time. you can just open the project in motion and change the ipad to a phone. or just use the hand over your project. I don’t know if this is what you meant
