Anyone know how to create the Samllville affect of that makes Clark run fast -“Super run” ? I have tried using the clip above itself 5 frames later at a 55% lumancy, but it is not looking the show at all. It’s got to be some kind of blur effect, but I am not sure what. Either that or I should animate the run and then feed in the last fee steps of my actor. Any ideas would be great!

Also, anyone got an idea on how to do the opening creates effect (the letters breaking apart and coming at the camera)?
    Thanks!

Don’t know about the “super run” thing (?) but to create letters coming towards the camera and exploding you want to use the ‘shatter’ effect in AE. Do a search on it and you’ll find plenty – you can also make very simple 3D text using shatter.

For a quick version, you can speed up your clip (obviously) then run it throgh the echo filter and tweak that until it’s smeary. I predict the superman effect uses “optical flow” which is built into a lot of the Re:Vision effects like twixtor and most noticably Re:Vision Reel Smart Motion Blur.
