Smaller Imac vs Bigger Imac
The last two on the screen. The 13 has up to 2.8GHz dual-core. The 15 has up to 2.6GHz quad core.
The 13 looks more powerful, but is the 15 still more powerful because in it’s case it’s a Quad, not a Dual? 4 vs 2 cores? And would that make a noticeable difference in power and speed?
Looks like there is an extra graphic card option for the 15 as well.
https://store.apple.com/us/mac/compare#Still pondering the trash can mac. I have the budget for one. And I watched one video that said you could get the standard in the box trash can mac , the higher version, and be good to go without having to add any more power to it.
“What do you think sirs?” – Joel Hodgeson
I wont be doing 4K or big budget videos, but I also want to be able to impress clients. So many Apple Options. The chat guy didn’t really give any advice. Pretty much said yes to everything I said or asked. And I’m still pondering Macbook Pro (which one), vs. Imac vs. Trash Can. I honestly think I can’t go wrong, I trust Apple. I just don’t want to pick wrong.
*Edit*
I’m coming off a different Apple and Editing program and just jumping into the i5 i7 FCPX world, which is why I posted it here. Does FCPX work notably better on one than the other?
