Hiya, been all over the Net via google and can’t seem to find anything for small-format cameras like DV, all I can find are major systems for 35mm, HD, and 16mm.

Anyone point me in a direction that does not lead directly to Tyler?

Absolutely! As soon as someone wants to infringe on their watertight patents. In other words, don’t count on finding anything that mounts on a helicopter with a pilot in it. They spent a LOT of money getting their design OK’d by the FAA and then slapping a long number of patents on that device.

We have a guy here in Phonix that has a remote control chopper that works pretty darn slick.

Depending on your situation and needs, You might try the remote controlled helicopter. I think it is copter-vision.

    YES.

Hand-hold your small DV, attached to a Kenyon Gyro-stabilizer. It feels like a big bowl of Jello. You can’t start and stop pans smoothly, but it maintains the momentum of any move, and takes out a lot of vibration.
