Small space at the end and beginning of a layer
I have set up a track using tracking to make a strip at the bottom for delivering text content as I speak. The width of the project is 1920 and the other tracks are all set to 1920…the width of the track in question needs to be set to 1940 to cover the entire length though on both ends.
Any ideas? For now I just set the width to 1940. I’m curious as to how this happened though.

What is the source of the text? Is it a JPEG file? or Generated Text? Try going into Pan/Crop for that event and right-click and select Match Output Aspect if the aspect of the text media isn’t 16:9.

It’s a graduated shade using tracking to show on only the bottom and pan to pull it in and out. With a layer of text over it. It’s the graduated shade that isn’t reaching all the way across…And have had to set it to 1945 instead of 1920.
There are so many different parts to this little 15 minute video, but it’s got that little space all the way across. Both tracks are set to 1080×1920… It’s quite strange…I think for now I’ll just make it 1945 rather than check all 100 segments and effects. There are bigger fish to fry and way way behind. Just thought maybe there was some simple setting I was missing…

For next time, I would use the Mask tool in Pan/Crop to make the lower third graphic. This way the graphic will always be the same dimensions as the video and just be masked to show the area you would like.
