I have what I thought would be simple Movie Studio task …
I want to have a Heartbeat pulse video and a synchronised Heartbeat audio.

Been playing around with video overlay Sparkle:
    120 6724_sparkle120.wmv.zip

    and sound file Heartbeat
    6725_heartbeat05.wav.zip

but I can’t get them to sync .. first off I thought I could just keep cropping pieces off sound file, stretching it to length I want and it would be slowed down … but it just stays same rate no matter how much I cut out of it.
Tried altering sound file using properties > elastique but all I can change is pitch not rate.

Is there a simple way to do this.

Also if anybody has a better heartbeat graphic .. be keen to know, waveform in one I have is fine, but could do without grid overlay.

Hi Rick, Do you mean something like this.

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/men2gqf5rv266t9/heart%20beat.mpg

If so the easiest way is to chop the beat section to one beat and match it to the video beat of the video. Once you know the distance between each beat it is quick to make a long section by copy paste

Not sure if this is what you were trying to do but this is the easy way to do what I think you wanted… John
