slowing down Sony Vegas Pro 8.0 rendering videos?
Whenever I render a video my computer always goes to about 99%-100% for total computer usage.
my computer is fast enough to handle something like this, but i would like some power for other things i can do in the meantime.
so is there a way I can make the video rendering take less usage? -

Go to Options | Preferences | Video and lower the Maximum number of render threads to less than your CPU has.

You can also use the Task Manager to find the process, then right click on it and select “Affinity”. Here you can select which processor cores the program will use.
