Slowing down clips to transcribe
Hi, this isn’t really FCP related besides the fact that I’m using it when I reach the editing phase. I was just wondering is there a way I can slow clips down to transcribe them so that I can write the video script? A few of the people I’ve interviewed talk really fast and it’s hard to transcribe at normal speed.

We use ExpressScribe when we transcribe and caption show.
I believe it is a free download.You can control it with a foot pedal if you have one other wise I think it has keyboard control’s for FF, FR, and play.
But Dave suggestion would work too. 🙂
