    Hey,

I am editing a documentary, and the narration I had to work with was said to fast, so in final cut i slowed down the audio and then raised the pitch to make it slower, but for some of the audio it sounds a little echo-y, and like the audio is doubled. Is there an easy way to fix this, Any help would be great, and If it could be today would be even better as we are showing it tonight. thanks.

Unless you have seriously good software, changing speed and maintaining pitch is going to sound awful. Slowing down is worst.

It also depends on the %. Anything more than 10% is difficult even for good software like MPEX3 or Serato Pitch & time.
