    Hello All,

I’m trying to use the “record on the fly” feature of motion to animates an object. For example, I have an object that I need to animate on a persons hand for a clip thats about 10 seconds in duration. I know I can arrow to each frame and add a keyframe but I would like to just hit record and then play and animate on the fly. The problem when I try this technique is the playback speed is way too fast. Is there a way to play my timeline much slower? I know I can slow the clip down but that just screws up all the keyframes when I set the clip back to 100%. Seems like an easy thing to do but I can’t figure out how to do it anywhere.

It sounds like the motion tracking behaviors would be of use. It would at least allow you to focus on the animation rather than both animation and position. I am not sure what you are trying to do but that might work for you. Good luck.
