  Slow response on audio effect adjustments.

  When I apply a audio effects. For example the Compressor. Why does premiere respond very slowly when I crank the buttons up and down? This is also anoying when I use the EQ effect. Does premiere really do any calculations when I crank these buttons? Should only be calculating when I play.
