    Im rendering a comp that has a ton of particles with motion blur on enabled and i expect it to be sluggish but my CPU is only at 16 percent usage and after effects is only using 13% percent of my memory. Ive tried a bunch of different multi proc settings and even when its all the way at fast rendering it still barely uses any cpu power.

    Im using an i7 920, 3 gb of ram, windows 7, and a 9800gx2 with opengl on.

    If you only have 3GB of RAM, you shouldn’t be using Render Multiple Frames Simultaneously multiprocessing at all. See this post:
