SLOW render times on brand new Mac Pro

Hi,

I’ve already done this but the option still does not appear. If I highlight the rendering line then the “option for selected service” appears. it is only when the compressor row appears that “options for selected service” button disappears. I don’t understand why!

Under “share this computer as” what is selected??

Selections are:

SHARE THIS COMPUTER AS: “QuickCluster with services”
SERVICES: Compressor is highlighted with “SHARE” ticked and “Managed” unticked
QUICKCLUSTER: “include unmanaged services from other computers” is ticked
SECURITY: unticked
SHARING: OFF (so that the button reads “start sharing”

Once again, clicking the “RENDERING” row under services allows me to click “options for selected service” but not when I click compressor! I’ve tried all of the permutations I can think of but to no avail…

You may have to reinstall, normally you can select “Compressor” and then
“Options for selected service”, so it sounds like you have a install or configuration problem.
