  Slow performance after install

  We just installed two licenses of Final Cut Studio and all the software updates at work on G5ss. FCP’s performance has slowed down tremendously. Stuff that used to take 5 minutes to render now takes 2 hours….amongst other things. All of the other studio apps work fine. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

  FYI, we are connected to a Grass Valley server. I dunno if that’s an issue.
