Slow mouse response
Hello everybody,
I’m experiencing slow response to mouse clicks much of the time with FCP 5.04. I use a G5, Dual 2 Gig. with two internal HD.
Also have 3 Gig of ram. Many times I have to click twice to get it to go. Also sometimes,not always, rendering is very,very slow. Any Ideas? -

Douse the same thing happen out side of FCP?
Have you tried another mouse?

No, everything is fine with all other programs.
Just happens with FC.cliff

Have you trashed your FCP preference files.

No, I haven’t tried that.
It’s not slow all the time. I can click an action and it
is just highlighted and nothing happens till I click it again.mrcliff72
