Slow motion work flow with what I have?
Ok, I am almost ready to start capturing and editing a short I filmed back in August. I will be editing on a Mac with the Adobe CS3 suite to start. I filmed all the regular motion stuff in 24 fps 1/48 shutter speed and everything I wanted in slow motion at 60 i with i think 1/120 shutter speed. I need to know how I should go about capturing it, and making the 60i (once slowed) work into a 24 fps short film. Can anyone give me a step by step at least semi-detailed process for which to walk through? The short will be going to film festivals so I want to do this right the first time. Thanks in advance.

not sure yet to be honest, waiting fo rthe software to arrive. On the PC its m2t, but i`ll be editing on a mac this time. I guess however it captures HDV from a canon camera

Capture the slow footage in its native format 60i. Start a new project with the correct settings.
Once you’ve captured it you will import it into your actual project. Once in the project tab you need to interpret footage (right click) the clip to run at 24fps instead of its 60i. This may not give you the best result so a couple of tests where you deinterlace the footage might help. the 60i is only for half the picture, it is still running at 29.97fps so you’ll need to do some tests with the way you tell it to slow down. If you are using 60p that won’t be an issue.
