Slow motion setting advice
Hi, I’ve checked the forum but can’t see anything that relates to my question.
I’m using a Sony XDCAM HD F335 and have some footage I’d like to give a slow motion effect. I shot it in PAL 50i 35Mbs and it will be converted to SD.
Is motion the way forward for this effect? And if so what settings do I need to apply to get the best slow mo results.

Depends how slow. Past 200% or so and it’s time to look at a third-party plugin like Twixtor otherwise it can look a bit cheesy.

I’ve reduced it down to 20%. Motion is slow but not that clear on movement.

That’s why those third party apps exist. 🙂 The best way to get good slow motion is to shoot overcranked.
