May 18, 2006 at 5:22 amAre you using the effect or the normal time-remapping? I advise to use the first option, if you have Pro. Still, it won’t look as smooth as you perhaps desire – after all, at 25% AE already needs to “imake up” 3 new frames between each orignal frame.
As for your last frame – it’s very unlikely that on tweaked footage it will be identical to the original, either to the fact that AE is sampling it at a different time (keep in mind: AE thinks in time, not in frames!) or it’s getting interpolated with other pixels.

May 18, 2006 at 10:41 pmYar, if you need an exact frame, extend your clip slightly so the final bit of time compression takes place after your desired end frame.
Time effects are difficult to master early in your AE career without folks like Mylenium and some tutorial practice. You might try searching the AE tutorials and the AE Calf forum for additional help in figuring out time effects.

May 20, 2006 at 10:18 pmThanks for the response. just an FYI, I do a lot of searching before I make a post, and I did find some post that asked pretty close to what I’m doing, but unfortunately the answer where never completed, at lest they where not in the post.
Bogiesan, something you mentioned lead me to search for a different phrase, I did a search on “extend clip ” and that lead me to time remapping, I tried that out and It worked just fine, I was able to play the whole clip with the small portion in slow motion, but that lead to something else.
First question, what is the difference between Time remapping and Timewarp, both are described as time manipulators, but when I used Timewarp, I liked the stutter effect it did on the slow motion part and would like to keep that. When I did the time remapping, that worked just fine, but it was all smooth. I liked the stutter in slow motion and would like to do that.
I tried to use both Timewarp and Time remapping, but that didn
