    actually I have to admit I’ve never used ReTimer, but yes, Twixtor produces glorious results 🙂

    Andy, Is Re-Timer as expensive as Twixtor?

    Try unchecking Frame Blending. that takes the softness away. Or you can use AE if you have it. It does a nice job of interpolating the intermediate frames similar to how twixtor does (and I guess realviz).

    ReTimer is a bit cheaper in SD and far more expensive in HD. Twixtor does HD in all versions.

    I’ve always used Boris Red for this. I believe Boris FX has the same filters though, Velosity Remap and Optical Flow. I’d be curious to get options on how Red and Shake did against Twixtor or ReTimer.
