    Hi,

I was given some help with this before on another post, but I’m still having a few problems I’m hoping someone can help me with.

I’m working on a 24p project, but have some footage that I shot 60p that I want to use in slow motion in the project.
Using Cinema Tools, I conformed the 60p footage to 24p, and then brought it into FCP. When I watch it in the preview window, I can see it playing in slow motion perfectly, but when I place it on the timeline, it plays back at normal speed. Why is this? What do I need to do to get it to play back in slow motion?

Thanks in advance for helping me out.

    What are your timeline settings?

    Sorry, should have said that…

    My timeline settings are:

    1920×1080 24p Apple ProRes (proxy)

Guess that’s all the info you need… My slow motion footage was shot at 60p.

    Thanks for your help.

    Olaf
