You must only judge quality on an external video monitor, not in the Viewer or Canvas.

You must render all effects before you can judge final quality.

Matte is right, but whn you do any kind of slo-mo you have to keep in mind that you have to work in threes. Meaning that there are 30 fps, 60 fields per second. They are divisable by 3. When you slo-mo at 55%, that means you are going to have to get rid of some frames of video to make that work. When you do, the video looks jerky because its missing key frames for smoothness. But now, when you make that same slo-mo at 60% it should look smooth because you are dropping an equalivent number of frames that make for the smooth motion. Its all in the math, just remember to keep it in a form of threes and your video should look smooth. Now, when I say threes, I mean the number of frames that make up one second. Such as 50% motion looks great because you are splitting the video in half. So, there are exceptions… But keep this in mind wehn figuring out your slo-mo speeds.

    Wayne,

That’s a great tip. Thanks for the “rule of Three’s”
