Thanks in advance for any suggestions. This is something I know how to do in Premiere Pro but we’re working with Avid on this project, which airs tomorrow (Thursday).

I’ve got two interview soundbites that I need to slow down by about 20% so the supporting GFX are on the screen long enough for the audience to read them. Obviously, I don’t want the pitch to drop compared with the rest of the soundbites in the package.

What’s the quickest and easiest way to put a motion effect on the applicable bites but keep the pitch the same?

    Much obliged!

    Hi…

In Avid…you need to go to tools and open the Audio Suite

Drag the soundbite clip from the bin to the audio suite window…

then add the time compression plug in…

edit it’s parmaters, and render result back to the bin….

    edit accordingly…

    Hope this helps..
