    Hi everyone,

I am the process of editing a music video and I have seen in some other videos that a clip might be moving in slow motion and then suddenly speed up and then slow down again, all in a very smooth and fluid motion.

How can this be done using FCP7/motion, or any other program?

Very new to motion so if that is the program that I will need to use it might take a little bit of explaining please.

    Thanks,
    E

Click open the FCP manual found in the FCP Help menu. Search it on “Variable Speed” and you’ll see how to do this in FCP… Not too easy to explain here, but easy enough to do with those instructions.

Nothing came up in the help but I Googled Variable Speed and got what I needed. Thanks!
